Follow Shantala’s foot steps!

For almost a year, the Quebec film-maker, Ezra Belotte-Cousineau, followed Shantala and her collaborators on tour, capturing privileged moments on and off stage. A sensitive portrait through images, looks, and words caught behind the curtain.
This still untitled film was to be premiered at the CinéDanse Festival in Montreal in November 2014, but the event has been postponed to the spring of 2015 after a recent fire accident damaged the venue. We’ll keep you posted on the new dates!

Pendant près d’un an, le cinéaste québécois Ezra Belote-Cousineau a promené sa caméra sur la scène et en coulisses pendant les tournées de Shantala. Un portrait sensible à travers les images, les regards et les mots attrapés derrière le rideau.

Le film Sur les pas de Shantala ! devait être présenté en avant-première mondiale au Festival Ciné Danse de Montréal du 20 au 24 novembre 2014. Suite à un incendie du musée de la civilisation qui devait accueillir ce festival, l’événement est reporté après Noël, nous vous tiendrons au courant !
